Sizing and capacity
- How do I know something will actually fit?
- Every product page publishes internal dimensions in centimetres and inches, and a table listing each compartment with the object it was sized around. Measure your largest item and compare. If you would rather not do the arithmetic, the Fit Planner does it against your own counts.
- Are the capacity figures guaranteed?
- No, and we say so wherever they appear. They describe how many typical items a compartment was designed around. Cosmetics vary in size between brands, so the internal dimensions are the figure to trust.
- What is the difference between outer and inner size?
- Outer size tells you whether the case fits your bag or drawer. Inner size tells you whether your things fit the case. Both are published because both questions get asked.
- Will a pouch hold a full-size palette?
- The deep flatlay case takes cases up to 15 × 15 cm standing on edge, and the wide flatlay takes them lying flat. Check the compartment table on each page for the exact figure.
Products and materials
- Do you sell the cosmetics too?
- No. Everything we sell is empty. Bottles and jars arrive clean and unfilled, and we do not make or sell anything with an ingredient list.
- Is anything waterproof?
- No. Coatings are water-resistant: they handle splashes and a damp counter, and they wipe clean. They will not survive inversion or soaking. The limits are set out on the product safety page.
- Can I put the bottles in the dishwasher?
- No. Dishwasher heat distorts the neck threads and the closures stop sealing. Hand wash in warm water and air dry standing open.
- Can I use the jars for food?
- No. They are made and tested for cosmetics and toiletries only, and are not intended for food, drink, medication or anything ingestible.
Safety
- Why do some products carry a California Proposition 65 warning?
- Because they contain a component made from flexible PVC or plated zinc alloy, which are associated with chemicals on California’s list. The full wording appears on those product pages, in your cart and again at checkout. Every affected item is listed on the product safety page.
- Are these products suitable for children?
- Caps, closures, funnels and small hardware are choking hazards for children under three. The child-sized hanging case is built without detachable parts, magnets or a mirror, but it is a travel case rather than a toy.
- Will this get through airport security?
- We publish measured capacity and size so you can check against the rules for your journey. We make no claim about any screening process, because those rules are set by the authority at your point of departure and change without notice.
Ordering, delivery and returns
- Which currency am I charged in?
- Everything is priced and charged in US Dollars (USD). If your card is issued in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate.
- Is there a subscription?
- No. Every purchase is one-time. There is no membership tier, no recurring charge, no stored balance and no loyalty scheme.
- How long does delivery take?
- Dispatch is within 1–2 business days. Delivery is 3–7 business days within the United States and 7–18 business days internationally. Full detail in the shipping policy.
- Who pays import duties?
- The recipient. Orders ship from the United States on a delivered-duty-unpaid basis, and duties are set by the destination country. We cannot estimate or prepay them.
- Can I return something I have used?
- Only if it is faulty. Because these containers hold cosmetics, we can only resell an item that has never been filled or used. Trying a pouch for fit is fine; filling a bottle is not. See the refund policy.
- How do I start a return?
- Email support@sanddhandbag.shop with your order reference within 30 days of delivery. We reply within one business day with a return authorisation and the address to send it to.
Bulk and custom
- Do you make custom compartment layouts?
- Yes, from 10 units. Send the list of what has to fit and we map an interior around it. The process and the form are on the custom order page.
- Can you print our logo on it?
- Yes, on your own brand. We do not reproduce third-party trademarks, characters or protected designs, and we do not copy another maker’s pattern.
